The Network for Water and Sanitation NETWAS Uganda is a non- profit making organization that provides services in the water supply, sanitation and hygiene sector.NETWAS also carries out social mobilization, research and dissemination of information.

WHO WE ARE AT NETWAS-UGANDA

NETWAS operations are guided by a five-year strategic plan, guided by Annual Rolling plans. Under its current strategic plan, NETWAS seeks to remain at the cutting edge of development in the WASH sector, by being a center of excellence for knowledge management and capacity building, continues to be innovative and delivering quality WASH services.

TEAM, VISION & MISSION

NETWAS Uganda is headed by a governance council comprising of nine persons who guide the strategic implementation of the mission, vision and values of the organization. These are supported a team of specialists headed by the Executive Director (Water and Sanitation Specialist) who are involved in the day today running of the organization.

What We Do

WHAT WE DO AT NETWAS-UGANDA

To help realize our goal of universal WASH access, we work and collaborate with partners around th country. We take this work to support and influence local governments and organizations from around the country to transform the way they work. NETWAS activities have mostly focused on Uganda and the organization operates on donations for project implementation as well asstrive to be financially self – supporting group with income derived from its consultancy activities but remains committed to pursuing resource centre functions including research and knowledge management.
